Griffith University Homing Instinct Workshop

This workshop had to be cancelled following the Queensland Government’s decision to calcel all conference leave.

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THIS WORKSHOP COULD NOT BE HELD.

However, I am leaving the information on the website as other Homing Instinct workshops are being held and are planned.

Draft program now available

We have produced a draft program for this workshop.

We will be piloting the workshop in a number of cities before the inaugural workshop in July at Griffith University.

One pilot has been held this week at the City of Charles Sturt in Adelaide.

Please send any feedback about the workshop program to [email protected]

A workshop for community leaders, local and State government planners and other professionals, developers and others who want to help communities come to grips with the complexities of housing density. And to help them address why it is such a contentious feature of the Australian planning landscape today. It will provide an understanding of why community members are expressing such concerns about increases in density in urban and rural areas.
