The NIMBY Clearinghouse
I’m delighted to report that the NIMBY clearinghouse is open for business.
On that blog, you will find the latest research and references about so-called NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard) behaviour. The Clearinghouse is a collaborative project with the School of Community and Regional Planning, University of British Columbia, Vancouver. I thank Professor Leonie Sandercock and a former UBC postgraduate student, Jim Beaudreau, for generous support.
For those of you who are seeking advice about so-called NIMBY behaviour, NIMBY psychology, and place attachment, the NIMBY Clearinghouse is your first stop.
My hope is that the clearinghouse will become a true community resource.
